PURPOSE:To perform easily and efficiently dehydration irrespective of a difference in physical properties of wet raw materials to be carried especially by a screw, with relation to a dehydration method and device of an extruder. CONSTITUTION:In a dehydrating method and device of an extruder, this is in such constitution that inner pressure of a cylinder 1 is adjusted by an adjusting valve 12 provided operatably freely on a downstream part of a kneading disc 6 of the cylinder 1 and drained through a dehydrating slit 4.
