PURPOSE:To prevent an electric signal such as a high frequency current from flowing reversely to an electric circuit in an apparatus main body from an ultrasonic transducer portion via a cooling fluid by using a nonelectrolyte cooling fluid for cooling the ultrasonic transducer portion. CONSTITUTION:During the course of a treatment, a nonelectrolyte cooling fluid 28 is forced to continuously circulate within a circulation tube 27 and a space 20 by a pump 22 to cool an ultrasonic transducer portion 6 located within the space 20 which is heated by internal friction caused by ultrasonic vibration. In this case, since the cooling fluid 28 is nonelectrolyte, a high frequency current flowing from an ultrasonic vibration transmitting member 10 to the ultrasonic transducer portion 6 via a hone 8 does not flow through a coil 14 via the cooling fluid 28. Therefore, the high frequency current does not flow reversely to an apparatus main body 2 via the coil 14 and an ultrasonic signal line 19 and act as noise on an ultrasonic vibration drive circuit including an ultrasonic signal source 16. The ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus can thus be prevented from malfunctioning and be miniaturized since the need for a high frequency noise filter circuit is eliminated. |
