<p>PURPOSE:To provide an article handling method which can feed an article picked up by a surface unit picking device to the first storage device and the second storage device efficiently respectively. CONSTITUTION:A surface unit picking device 13 to pick up plural articles B laminated on a pallet in a plane form at the surface unit, a load uniforming place where the articles B are uniformed, and a storage device (a flowing shelf) to store the articles B are provided. And in an article handling method to feed the articles from the surface unit picking device 13 to the load uniforming place and the storage device, at least the first storage device 29A and the second storage device 29B are provided as the storage device 29, and the value to sum up the necessary number of articles to the load uniforming place, and the article feeding number to at least two storage devices 29A and 29B, is divided by the sum of the articles B composing the surface unit, and depending on the resultant value, the articles B are picked up by the surface unit picking device 13.</p> |
