<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the air fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture to an LPG internal combustion engine from becoming over rich by preventing the liquid fuel stored in the primary pressure reducing chamber of a regulator from excessively evaporating due to the heat generation of a heater. CONSTITUTION:A PTC heater 29 which accelerates the evaporation of the liquid fuel in a primary pressure reducing chamber 13 by generating itself is arranged in a regulator 6. The heat generation and heat generation stop of the PTC 29 are controlled by an ECU 33 (electronic control unit). The ECU 33 does not make the PTC heater 29 generate heat, but calculates the quantity of vaporized fuel combusting air used for combusting the vaporized fuel when all the liquid fuel stored in the primary pressure reducing chamber 13 is vaporized at the cooling water temperature at the time of controlling. The ECU 33 makes the PTC heater 29 generate heat when the quantity of actual intake air is more than the quantity of vaporized fuel combusting air and makes the PTC heater 29 stop heat generation when the quantity of actual intake air is equal to or less than the quantity of air for combusting vaporized fuel.</p> |
