PURPOSE:To prevent the position control force of each suspension mechanism to suppress the change of the position of a traveling vehicle body from exceed ing the bump-stop force to be obtained from the energy which the respective suspension mechanisms can absorb, and release the shocks when the working member of the respective suspension mechanisms is hit by a stopper. CONSTITUTION:The position control force corresponding to the external force while a vehicle is traveling is obtained from the vertical displacement of the suspension mechanism of each wheel, and the amount of oil of each suspension mechanism is controlled in correspondence to the position control force. On the other hand, the vertical displacement of each suspension mechanism is obtained from the detected signal of a vehicle height sensor 28 which passes a low frequency filter 51, and the energy which can be absorbed by each suspension mechanism is obtained from the vertical displacement and the supporting load of each suspension mechanism. The speed limit of each suspension mechanism corresponding to the energy is obtained, and the bump-stop force of each suspension mechanism 19 is obtained from the speed limit so that the position control force may not exceed the bump-stop force. |
