PURPOSE:To enable transcription on a recording paper sheet at a low pressure while a good ink image being obtained on a transcription medium of a material having a good releasing property in a transcription type ink-jet recording method. CONSTITUTION:Writing of an ink image is done, with a transcription drum rotating and a recording head scanning. A relation of q < Dd <p is set up among a space (p) (a pitch in the main scanning direction) between adjacent ink-dots in the main scanning direction (the circumferential direction of the transcription drum, the arrow A direction), a space (q) (a pitch in the subsidiary scanning direction) between adjacent ink-dots in the subsidiary scanning direction perpendicular to the main scanning direction (the arrow C direction), and the diameter of the ink dot Dd. Accordingly, overlapping is prevented between adjacent ink-dots in the main scanning direction in which a shot-time interval between adjacent ink-dots is short, while overlapping occurs between adjacent ink-dots in the subsidiary scanning direction in which a shot time interval between adjacent ink-dots is long. In this way, a good ink image can be formed without generating an ink repelling phenomenon even on a transcription medium of a material having a good releasing property. |
