METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS GRANULATION IN LIQUID

PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing granules with an average grain diameter of 600m max, a high sphericalness and a narrow grain size distribution continuously. CONSTITUTION:A suspension containing aggregates with a saturation (S) of 0.40 to 0.45 which is separately manufactured is supplied to one end of a granulation tank. Then a required amount of binder is added and granules are obtained with the application of stirring energy. Further, granules as a product and the same amount of a suspension medium as an input are discharged from the other end of the granulation tank. Thus the above process is performed in a liquid continuously.
