The apparatus for marking letter or pattern on wooden beads by heating, comprises: a pair of sprockets (64a,64b) provided with a finger chain (1) having fingers (11); marking member (21) on the surface of the chain; a marking plate (2) and an inner heater (22) provided at a guider frame (3) on a lower frame (20); a height adjusting bolt (54) for adjusting height of the frame (3); a rubber roller (41) and a roller (42) mounted at the support bracket (5); a compressing plate (43) fixed at a height adjusting screw bar (44) combined with a guide piece (51); a driving motor (61), a speed reducer (62), a driving chain (C1) for connecting the shaft (63S) of sprockets (63a,63b) with the shaft (64S) of the sprocket (64), rubber roller (41) and belt (B2).
