A compound represented by general formula (I), wherein R<1> represents imidazolyl, triazolyl or tetrazolyl each of which may be substituted by methyl and/or ethyl. R<2> represents naphthyl, phenanthryl or anthryl each of which may be substituted by substituent(s) selected from the following group A: C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C6 acyloxy, aromatic acyloxy, OH, trialkyl, C1-C4 acyl amino, alkoxyalkoxy, alkoxyacyloxy and trialkylsilyloxy; and R<3> represents hydrogen, methyl or cyano. This compound has an excellent aromatase inhibitor activity and is useful particularly as a remedy for breast cancer. |
