The invention concerns a tinnitus-treatment device with a generator designed to generate a preferably sinusoidal signal which slowly and repeatedly sweeps the audio-frequency spectrum with an adjustable sweep time and an electro-acoustic converter (31) designed to deliver a corresponding audio signal to the human ear, the output signal from the generator, and hence the acoustic output signal from the device, being controllable as a function of the frequency or frequencies in accordance with a predefined programmed characteristic curve. The modification of the output signal is carried out by means of a controllable and programmable attenuator unit (29). |
