The method manufactures a bond magnet using hexagonal crystals recoverd from a waste paint. The method comprises: A) adding a solvent to the waste magnetic recording paint which contains hexagonal oxides (MO6Fe2O3, M=Ba,Sr,Pb) and decomposing the binder in the paint; B) heat treating at 200-800 deg.C for 1-3 hr and grinding; C) separating and recovering the magnet; D) adding 1-30 wt.% rubber or thermosetting plastics and press molding or press injection molding; and E)heating and curing at 90-200 deg.C for 5-48 hr.
