PURPOSE:To improve a curl and irregularities after the recording of a thermal recording body by setting the heat shrinkage factor and thickness of a supporter in specific numerical ranges respectively in the thermal recording body, in which a thermal color-developing layer and an overcoating layer are disposed successively on the surface of the supporter. CONSTITUTION:Colorless or light-colored electron donative leuco dyes, an organic acidic substance color-developing leuco dyes by heating and a thermal color-developing layer mainly comprising adhesives are arranged onto one surface of a heat-shrinkable supporter in a thermal recording body. An overcoating layer using a water-soluble and/or water-dispersible resin, dyestuffs, a lubricant and a crosslinking agent as main components is disposed onto the top face of the thermal color-developing layer. In such a constitution, a heat shrinkage factor is set to 1.0-4.0% while thickness is set to 90-250mum in the supporter. Accordingly, a curl and irregularities after the recording of the thermal recording body employing the heat-shrinkable supporter such as synthetic paper having double layer structure, an oriented thermoplastic resin film, etc., are improved. |
