<p>PURPOSE:To provide a reel controlling device having a quick responsiveness to a revolution speed instruction corresponding to a tape speed instruction value and capable of controlling a fluctuation in tension. CONSTITUTION:A revolution speed instruction value outputted from a speed instructing means 5 is differentially processed at a differentiating means 8, from its output an acceleration torque corresponding to the change of the revolution speed instruction is found by an acceleration torque calculating means 9 and a first motor 3 is driven in a feed-forward mode. Also, an acceleration instruction is outputted by the acceleration instructing means 17 in accordance with the acceleration or the deceleration of the first motor 3, necessary acceleration torque is calculated at a second acceleration torque calculating means and a scond motor 12 is driven in the feed-forward mode. Thus, even when there is a sudden change of the revolution speed instruction, an operation is carried out without any delay and the fluctuation in the tension is suppressed.</p> |
