<p>PURPOSE:To highly accurately detect the amount of hot water in a hot water storage tank with a simplified structure in a hot water storage type hot water supplier. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a hot water storage tank 1 of a capacity Q, a water pump 2, a heat source 3, a piping 4 for constructing a water circulation circuit by connecting the former members in series, and water temperature detection means disposed downstream of the heat source 3 for detecting water temperature TH flowing upstream of the hot water storage tank 1. There are further provided second water temperature detection means 7 located downstream of the hot water supply tank 1 for detecting water temperature TL flowing upstream of the heat source 3, a temperature detection line 8 disposed in a thermal conduction relationship on a can body surface of the hot water supply tank 1 for detecting average hot water temperature TM, and an calculation means 9 for hot water amount in hot water storage tank for operating the amount of hot water based upon the amount of hot water in the hot water storage tank QH=[Q.TM-(Q-QH).TL]/TH. Thus, the amount of the water in the hot water storage tank 1 is detected highly accurately with a simplified structure.</p> |
