<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the enlargement of a circuit scale and raise the recording speed. CONSTITUTION:Heating resistors 2, whose number corresponds to the number of the dots of picture data (line data) for one line, are provided. A driver 4 is connected to each heating resistor 2. The driver 4 is uniformly divided into four blocks 4a-4d. A shift register 5, wherein the picture data (block data) for one block when the line data are uniformly divided into four blocks are temporarily stored, is provided. A latch circuit 6, wherein the stored picture data for one block are held, is provided. The blocks 4a-4d of the driver 4 drive and control the heating operations of the blocks 2a-2d of the heating resistors 2 corresponding to the blocks 4a-4d themselves. The block data are recorded on recording paper based on the heating operations of the heating resistors 2. The transfer of the next block data from a control circuit 7 to the shift register 5 is started during the recording operation of the block data.</p> |
