PURPOSE:To decrease the uneven rotation of a photosensitive drum and to make the quality of a transferred image on recording paper high by providing a load application means which adds load torque to the photosensitive drum between a device frame and the photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:Coil springs 7 functioning as load torque application means are respectively supported in grooves 6a formed at both end parts 6 of the photosensitive drum 3. When a motor coupled with a supporting shaft 4 through a gear is driven, the drum 3 is rotated with the driving of the motor. At such a time, the pressing force of the coil springs 7 arranged on both end sides of the drum 3 becomes the load torque resisting the rotation of the drum 3 and is added to the drum 3. Therefore, the drum 3 is rotated more stably than the case that the load torque from the coil spring 7 is not added. By adding the proper load torque to the drum 3, the uneven rotation of the drum 3 is decreased. |
