PURPOSE:To improve the exciting efficiency of a solid laser system while miniaturizing the same by making an exciting beam source (lamp) approach a laser medium (solid medium). CONSTITUTION:A lamp 2 is arranged in a space provided inside a solid material 3 transparent to exciting beams. At this time, the outer surfaces 31 of the solid material 3 is coated with another material reflecting the exciting beams. Otherwise, a reflector is arranged near the outer surface 31 of the solid material 3. On the other hand, a refrigerant flow path 21 for cooling down the lamp 2 and the solid material 3 is set up in the gap between the lamp 2 and the solid material 3 in the space 22. |
