PURPOSE:To compress and expand voice data with a small feeling of auditory physical disorder by compressing and expanding only a voiceless sound part (part of extremely small sound) and using data on a voiced sound part which is offensive to the ear as they are. CONSTITUTION:This voice compressing and expanding device is equipped with a voiceless sound part compression and expansion rate calculation part 1 which extracts a low-loudness part in voice signal data as the voiceless sound part, calculates the length of the voiceless sound part, and calculates the compression and expansion rate of the voiceless sound part on the basis of the calculated length of the voiceless part, the overall length of the whole voice data, and a specified compression and expansion rate of the whole voice signal data and a voiceless sound part compression and expansion processing part 2 which performs processing for deleting part or the whole of the voiceless sound part or processing for expanding the voiceless sound part according to the calculated voiceless sound part compression and expansion rate. |
