PURPOSE:To easily adjust picture quality and sound volume by a remote controller of the infrared ray system in the liquid crystal video projector using a liquid crystal light bulb to display a picture on a screen. CONSTITUTION:A light from a light source 5 is decomposed into three primary colors of R(red), G(green) B(blue) by dichroic mirrors 7, 8, liquid crystal light bulbs 13-15 form images and they are synthesized again by dichroic mirrors 9, 10 and a picture is projected on a screen 1 via a projection lens 6. Furthermore, an infrared ray signal sent from a remote controller 3 is reflected in the screen 1 and collected by the projection lens 6, reflected in the dichroic mirrors 9, 10 to allow an infrared ray photo diode (light receiving element) 16 arranged in the vicinity of the outside of a valid display range of the R color liquid crystal light bulb 13 to receive the reflected light. |
