<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution, obviate complicated algorithm for control, facilitate adjustment and enable high-level response. CONSTITUTION:A bending cylinder 20 with which bending force is generated on work rolls 23, 24 is moved/driven by the pressure of hydraulic oil that is imparted through a four-way servo valve 33. The pressure of hydraulic oil is detected with pressure detectors 31, 32 and determined as forces on the rod and ram sides of a piston 21 by calculation in a force computing element 39. The difference between the forces on the ram and rod sides is given to a force control controller 40 as the effective output of cylinder. A force signal that is the deviation when the bending force command is taken as the target value and the effective output as the controlled variable is given to a moving coil 36 with the force control controller 40 and the spool 34 of the four-way servo valve 33 is moved.</p> |
