The sole (1) has certain projections (2) which have blind holes (3) in them which are perpendicular to the plane of the sole. A metallic stud (7) is inserted into each hole by pressure. Each hole has a cylindrical part and an enlarged conical power part in which the conical enlarged head (8) of the stud engages by elastic deformation. The stud has a cylindrical part (9) which fits in the cylindrical part of the hole and a second larger cylindrical part (10), which is partly held in the hole. It has a narrower outer cylindrical part (11) which projects outwards. USE - Shoe sole made in rubber with projections into which metallic studs are inserted to improve adherence.
