PURPOSE:To facilitate charging of paper on a carrying device by joining an upper frame to a lower frame on one side of a platen being apart from the carrying device, so that it can rotate around the axis intersecting the direction of carriage of the paper perpendicularly substantially. CONSTITUTION:On the occasion of moving back and forth in relation to a shaft 60 with the rotation of a frame 1, pins 18 and 19 slide on and come into contact with levers 41 and 42 respectively and are subjected to actuating forces thereof. A motor 11 and gears 12 and 13 driven by the motor are supported on the side plate 1b of the upper frame 1. Gears 31 and 32 engaging with each other are supported on the side plate 30b of a lower frame 30 and the gear 32 in the rear stage is fixed to a drive shaft 33 of a pin tractor 34. When the upper frame 1 is at a position of closure, the gear 13 of the upper frame and the gear 31 of the lower frame 30 engage with each other and the revolution of the motor 11 is transmitted to the pin tractor 34. When the upper frame 1 moves to a position of opening, the engagement of the two gear 13 and 31 is canceled. |
