REFRACTORY BRICK FOR MANUFACTURING STEEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain refractory brick for manufacturing steel, having inexpensive manufacturing cost, thermal shock resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance by using a readily obtainable common raw material. CONSTITUTION:A raw material for refractory brick for manufacturing steel comprises 40-90wt.% alumina-silica-based raw material having 60wt.% or higher alumina content, 1-15wt.% chromium oxide and 1-45wt.% zirconia-based raw material having 20wt.% or higher zirconia content and the amount of silica and sodium oxide in the raw material or in a separately added component of silica and sodium oxide is 0.2-35wt.% based on the whole amount.
