PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of reproducibility of an original and to prevent and trace illegal copy by inhibiting copying of a special original without obstructing copying of normal original to prevent illegal copy and tracing copy in the case that the special original is copied. CONSTITUTION:This copying machine is provided with a picture detecting circuit 401 which extracts a feature picture part from picture data, a memory 402 where feature data of the special original are preliminarily stored, a comparing circuit 403 which compares the extracted feature picture part with feature data to obtain the similarity, and a discriminating circuit 404 which decides inhibition of copy in the case of the obtained similarity more similar than a first similarity and decides mark addition in the case of the obtained similarity less similar than the first similarity and more similar than a second similarity. |
