The cooling circuit of the engine consists of an inlet orifice for the cooling agent, situated on the side face (4) of the engine, a primary chamber situated in the cylinder block and arranged around the cylinder bores (3). A second chamber (20) is situated in the cylinder head (2). The primary chamber (10) is formed as two passages extending from one side of the cylinder bores to the other, almost the length of the block. The cooling agent flows through these passages, from the inlet (4) in the side face to the opposite face (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - The vertical flow ensures efficient extraction of all the heat generated.
