PREPARATION OF OXIDE CRYSTAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To continuously prepare a large oxide crystal or a crystal having a Y-based 123 structure. CONSTITUTION:A liquid phase, enclosing a solid phase having a composition which supplies a crystal constituent element to a liquid phase 3 and is different from an oxide crystal in a place distant from a position for growing the crystal, composed of at least the crystal constituent element and having the composition different from the oxide crystal is used for growing the oxide crystal. Thereby, the crystal having the different compositions is grown from the solid and liquid phases. Furthermore, a seed crystal, the rotational speed and rotative direction of the seed crystal and the atmosphere in a furnace are respectively controlled to grow the crystal having the different compositions from both the solid and the liquid phases.
