PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent composition for a sliding member, excellent in low frictional properties and abrasion resistance in sliding without damaging an opposite material. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition for a sliding member is composed of 0.1-50vol.% poly-phenylene terephthalamide having <=50mum average particle diameter, 0.1-50vol.% at least one selected from the group (A) consisting of tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer resins, tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer resins and fluoroethylene propylene ether resins and the remainder substantially composed of tetrafluoroethylene resin. |
