<p>PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a building material sufficiently put to practical use in the aesthetic characteristics of aggregate and having an arbitrary shape by bringing a sheet like material in a semisolid state formed from a mixture of granular aggregate and a solidifying agent into close contact with a mold to obtain a required architectual material. CONSTITUTION:For example, a solidifying agent using a room temp. curable epoxy resin is uniformly compounded and kneaded with granite granules to obtain a kneaded material 3 which is, in turn, poured into the retaining mold 2 received in an outer mold 1. Next, the kneaded material is detached from the outer mold l along with the retaining mold 2 to be aged for about 6hr to obtain an intermediate material 4 having the shape conforming to the retaining mold 2 in a semisolid state. This intermediate material 4 is pressed to a mold 5 to be molded. At this time, the upper surface not covered with the retaining mold 2 of the intermediate material 4 is brought into contact with the mold 5 to be pressed thereto from the under side of the retaining mold 2. Next, a product 6 having a finish surface on the contact side with the retaining mold 2 is demolded from the retaining mold 2.</p> |
