PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device which efficiently and surely captures exposure charge on a photoconductor layer even in the case of using a dynamic driven LED head and easily makes an image vivid without causing surface fogging and the deterioration of toner density even in the case that the image is consequently formed by using a back exposure method as a back exposure developing device. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with an exposure means 2 to perform exposure by driving an LED element group arrayed in a photosensitive body main scanning direction in terms of time division at (n) bit units and a photosensitive body 1 where the photoconductor layer receiving the light output of the exposure means 2 is formed with a-Si system material. The exposure position of the exposure means 2 is set on the downstream side in a photosensitive body moving direction from the most proximate position between the photosensitive body 1 and a toner carrier 30 and also light input intensity from a LED element is set at >=0.35muJ/cm<2> and its exposure pulse time is set at 5-100mus.
