METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING KIND OF RESIN MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a method for efficiently and surely identifying the kind of resin material separated from waste products and the like. CONSTITUTION:Measurement light having specified wave length width is cast on a resin material, its reflection quantity is measured and wave length distribution of the absorption quantity of the measurement light caused by the resin material is obtained from the reflection quantity. Next, differential operation processing of the wave length distribution of the absorption quantity is performed, so that a differential operation value of the absorption quantity of the measurement light is obtained in a plurality of specified wave length. The differential operation value is compared with a reference value previously set every kind of the resin materials for the purpose of identification of the kind thereof.
