<p>PURPOSE:To unnecessitate a quantizing control and to stabilize image quality by writing next data at the same time when data is read and is transferred by using two buffer memories and successively transferring image data by alternately repeating this operation. CONSTITUTION:After an analog image signal is converted into digital data by an A/D converter 12, the digital data is converted into encoding data by an encoding device 14 which has a constant quantized value and it is temporarily stored in a buffer memory 16. Next, when a certain quantity of data quantity is stored in the memory 16, the stored encoding data is transferred to a recording medium 18 at high speed. At the time of a decoding, by tracing the reverse process, the encoding data transferred from the recording medium 18 to a buffer memory 26 is decoded by a decoding device 24, further, the data is converted into the analog signal by a D/A converter 22 and the image signal is restored. Thus, even if a high degree image processing is not performed, the image is stabilized and the quantizing control becomes unnecessary.</p> |
