PURPOSE:To enable automatic retrieval on a specific day without manually inputting a retrieval command by previously inputting the date of the automatic retrieval, and performing the automatic retrieval and outputting image information at the retrieval date. CONSTITUTION:An image generating means 14 combines date information inputted from a keyboard 16 with an inputted image to generate image information with the date information, which is stored in an image information memory 12. An automatic retrieving means 20 performs automatic retrieval at the retrieval date inputted from the key board 16, i.e., at the date indicated with the retrieval date information, displays the retrieval result on a display device 24, and also prints it out on a printer 36. When CPU 10 is in process of the execution of other processing, the automatic retrieval is performed at the date corresponding to the retrieval date information preferentially to other processing and the result can be outputted on the display device 24 or printer 36. Consequently, the retrieval command need not be inputted manually and the possibility that the retrieval is not done forgetfully is eliminated. |
