PURPOSE:To provide the automatic focusing camera which can be adjusted and focused on an object body to be photographed by using boundary information regarding an image of the object body. CONSTITUTION:The automatic focusing camera consists of a camera input part 11 which receives the image input of the object of photographing, a focus driving part 12 which drives the focusing part of the camera, a CPU 13 which performs necessary arithmetic and control, a RAM 14 which stores intermediate data, etc., a ROM 15 which is stores various programs, a differentiating process part 16 which emphasizes the border part of the image input, a binarization part 17 which binarizes data into 1 and 0 on the basis of a certain threshold value, a data counting process part 18 which totalizes the binarized data regarding the image input, and a counted value holding part 19. |
