The chair has a seat (4) which is articulated, at the front, round a horizontal axle (8). This is joined to the lateral arms (9) of a rectangular frame (10), between the seat and a support base (1). It is moved by a jack (12) between the frame and the back of the seat. The frame is articulated on the base round an axle (11), parallel to the seat's axle. It is moved by a jack (17), between it and the front of the base. The back (5) and foot-rest (7) are moved by jacks (22).
