The female, moulded plastics connecting piece (3) has, between its insertion (19A) and outlet (19B) end, a passage for the male, moulded plastics connecting piece (2) to go through. The male connecting piece has a belt (5) on one surface of which are transversely pointing notches (7). The female connecting piece has a contact surface (17) on which the belt second surface (6) slides. A retainer piece in the form of an elastic tongue (15) extends between one connecting end and a free end (16) opposite the contact surface. One end of a flexible cord (4) is joined to the male connecting piece, while its other end is joined to the female connecting piece. USE/ADVANTAGE - The annular fastening is elongated, slim and flexible and can easily be closed and its tension adjusted.
