The adjuster has a drive (3), which is located conventionally on the stationary construction (11) on the side (10) of the waggon. A drive shaft (5), which extends in transverse direction of the waggon is connected to a converter (4). The converter has a screw (14) or toothed gear element and a counter plate (13), to convert the rotary movement of the drive shaft into a push or traction movement of drive rods (6) in crosswise direction of the waggon, to turn the rotary axis (8) on either side of the waggon, via levers (7) etc. USE/ADVANTAGE - Railway waggons. Consists of relatively short shafts and rods, located in small spaces. Simple construction and small number of e.g. screws, spindles, etc. |
