The setting regulator has a sensor lever (1) cooperating with a drive rod of the setting device and a measuring lever (9) cooperating with a measuring system (11), both mounted on the setting regulator axis (7). A stop (15) cooperates with the measuring lever to ensure that the levers have a given angle to one another in the zero position. Pref. the stop is provided by a manually operated setting lever which is pivoted at one end and acted on by a return spring bias. Pref. the setting lever has two stop faces cooperating with the measuring lever adjacent its opposite ends. ADVANTAGE - Simple zero setting ensuring full measuring range is used.
