The invention relates to a method for the quantitative determination of disease-specific antigens in a patient's sample with preset volume or weight by analysis. There have repeatedly been problems with such methods in the prior art because the analytical sensitivity was frequently insufficient. The invention remedies this by subjecting the patient's sample initially to a freeze-concentration and only thereafter analysing it, and by calculating back the original volume or weight on the resulting measurement. It is possible according to the invention in this way to achieve an excellent improvement in sensitivity (cf. Tab. 1). |
