The raw inner cattle hide is initially bleached after it has been separated from an outer skin, processed to a predetermined thickness and cut to form a product. A pattern is then drawn on the hide using a liquid adhesive agent as a resist. When the resist has hardened so it does not flow, the hide is then soaked with a water pigment in a first coloring pigment tank. A second pattern is then drawn on the colored hide and the hide soaked in a second coloring pigment tank; the pigment does not adhere to either of the patterns. Drying the hide allows the resist to be removed and the colored pattern is then protected. Coloring and patterning of raw inner cattle hide are performed prior to manufacturing into wristlets, hair clips, baskets, waste paper basket, etc.. |
