A holding system (50) has a fixing section (50a), to which the wiper motor (20) is fixed and has a gripping section (50b). The holding system (50) is fixed to the carrying tube (40) across the gripping section. The gripping section has a number of projecting elements (50d), which have an elongated shape. The longitudinal axis of these elements are aligned in the longitudinal direction of the carrying tube (40). The projecting elements are effective at the inner surface (50c) of the gripping section (50b) and face the carrying tube (40). Each of the projecting elements (50d) form a welding point (45,fig.3) between the gripping section (50d) and the carrying tube, which is fixed to the bodywork.
