Plastics extruder with high frequency heating

Plastics materials are plasticised in an extruder with barrel and at least one revolving screw inside, whereby the material is fed into the barrel and conveyed to a suitable tool whilst the material is heated by h/f during operations. The heating is provided in certain limited parts where no friction is produced by the interaction of screw and barrel.
