Car bodies are lacquered by a spray process, using a combined lacquering and drying room. There is a filter plate (5) near the ceiling of the room and separate channels for fresh air inlet and waste air. In the space (4) above the filter plate, there are a number of electro-ionising units (11), their purpose being to neutralise any toxic chemicals and thus provide an environmentally-friendly plant. They are arranged in two parallel rows. There may be an additional fan in the exhaust channel. ADVANTAGE - Environmentally-friendly plant.
