The planetary gear train is used in a vehicle. The hollow wheel (29) is equipped with intermediate flanges (31) which are arranged between the pair of housing parts (2,3) and joined to them by fasteners (4). The housing parts are provided with fastening eyes (6) to receive the hollow wheel flange and the fastening elements. The hollow wheel has ring grooves (9,10) on the cylindrical outer surface (11), into which sealing rings can be inserted. USE/ADVANTAGE - Planetary gear train in vehicle has the smallest possible dia. and is capable of transmitting small to medium sized outputs.
