<p>Compounds of formula <CHEM> wherein: X is O or S; R1 is hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl or phenyl(alkyl); R2 is hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl or phenyl(alkyl); or R1 and R2 together represent alkylene or <CHEM> wherein R5 represents (a) 2-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethyl; (b) pyrimidinyl; (c) a 2-, 3- or 4-pyridinyl optionally substituted by alkyl; and (d) benzoyl, benzyl, phenyl and diphenylmethyl optionally substituted by halogen, methoxy, trifluoromethyl, alkyl, nitro, acetyl, and cyano; and (i) R6 and R7 together represent alkylene or (ii) <CHEM> or (iii) when R6 represents hydrogen atom or hydroxy, R7 represents (a) pyrimidinyl; (b) a 2-, 3- or 4-pyridinyl optionally substituted by alkyl; and (c) benzoyl, benzyl, phenyl and diphenylmethyl optionally substituted halogen, methoxy, trifluoromethyl, alkyl, nitro, acetyl, and cyano; R3 is halogen, hydrogen, alkyl, trifluoromethyl, or alkoxy; R4 is halogen, hydrogen, alkyl, trifluoromethyl, or alkoxy; and R8 is hydrogen, alkyl or phenyl(alkyl). These compounds are found useful as an active ingredient for the treatment of hypertension and dysuria. <IMAGE></p> |
