<p>There is disclosed an ink jet head comprising channels (5, 6) separated from one another by elongate barriers (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e) of piezoelectric material, wherein alternate channels (5) are filled with ink whereas the other channels (6) are dummy channels. The ink is ejected from the channels(5) through nozzles (11) by the application of a voltage to electrodes (4, 4b1, 4b2, 4c1, 4c2, 4d1, 4d2) along the sides of the elongate barriers (2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2c).</p> |
