In the production of hollow articles from thermoplastic by the blow moulding process, which are to be provided with an auxiliary part (22,122,222) which is inserted in the blow mould (10,110,210) and, during expansion of a preform (parison) (18) to form the hollow article, is connected to the latter, heating of the auxiliary part (22,122,222) is carried out in that a heating element (30,130,230) is, before the expansion of the preform (18), brought into contact with at least that surface of the insert part (22,122,222) which is to enter into a welded bond to the hollow article. This heating is effected by a heating element (30,130,230) which is brought into contact with the auxiliary part (22,122,222) already disposed in the blow mould (10,110,210) in order in this manner to heat at least that surface of the auxiliary part (22,122,222) to be bonded to the hollow article to a temperature which is favourable for producing an adhesive bond to the hollow article. <IMAGE> |
