reacting polyoxyethylene with acrylonitrile in presence of the hydroxide catalyst of alkali metal; then with raninickel catalyst in the pressurizing part, firtstly charging ammonia in at A kg/cm2 pressure, and secondarily charging hydrogen in at B kg/cm2 pressure, where 5 <= A <= 15, B = 80 + 4 (15-A). The obtd. polyoxyethylene diamine has high primary amine value, e.g. higher than 95%, and is useful as the hardening agent for epoxy resin or urethane, and the monomer for polyamide copolymer.
