The printing method decrease the raster output file size and the transmission time for printing the extended original font data. The method comprises: an input text file including general Hangul codes; a mapfont processor unit (13) outputting the compressed font data stored in the internal RAM of computer; an extended raster unit (21) for extending the compressed data into the original font data; a raster processing unit for storing the extended font data into page RAM; a printing unit (22) printing out the extended font data.
