The circuit prevents the damage of heater caused by a thermistor short circuit. The circuit comprises: a power supply responding to the control signal from a temperature sensor; a short monitoring circuit for watching the sensor output line; a temperature comparison circuit outputting the difference between the sensor output voltage and the reference value; a microprocessor for displaying the short status according to the short monitoring circuit condition.
