PURPOSE:To record a stereoscopic image for a flicker countermeasure by deleting the stereoscopic image to be image-picked up in every other horizontal scanning and scanning both video signals for left eye and right eye with one field scanning. CONSTITUTION:A video signal L for left eye and a video signal R for right eye are synchronized and a horizontal scanning signal is deleted in every other horizontal scanning. Then, a signal, in which a field scanning is executed with the interlace field scanning of an odd number an even number the odd number.... The video signal L for left eye and the video signal R for right eye are time-compressed into a half for the unit of field scannings in a signal processing part 5. Then, a signal, which is reduced into a half respectively with the L for left eye in the first half of a field scanning period and with the R for right eye in the latter half of it and to be time-compressed, is scanned in time-division. Then, a stereoscopic video signal L/R is prepared so that the interlace field scanning can be executed in the odd number the even number the odd number... per field scanning. The stereoscopic video signal L/R is synthesized in a signal synthesizing part 6 and recorded to an image recording part 8. Thus, the flicker countermeasure can be executed. |
